On March 20, at the 2025 Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE) in Shanghai, wan AIChef unveiled its futuristic innovation to the world with the global debut of the wan AiOS 1.0 Organizational Ultra-Intelligent System. Leveraging advanced AI technologies, this system empowers households worldwide with personalized healthy meal management—from health monitoring and dietary recommendations, to real-time ingredient delivery, one-touch cooking, and post-meal nutritional analysis.

This milestone moment was witnessed by a panel of industry and academic experts, including Ren Fazheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of the Institute of Nutrition and Health at China Agricultural University, and Ma Jinnan, COO and Executive Editor-in-Chief of TMTPost.

AI Tackles the Challenges of Dietary Management: Debut of wan AiOS as the Ultimate Smart Nutrition Assistant for the Home

At the press conference, He Jianfeng, Marketing Director of wan AIChef, presented the full capabilities of the newly launched wan AiOS 1.0 Organizational Ultra-Intelligent System. Serving as the "smart brain" of wan AIChef ultra, wan AiOS enables personalized health monitoring, capturing over six key health indicators—including blood oxygen level and heart rate—within just 10 seconds of facial scanning.

By integrating users' uploaded medical reports and health data, wan AiOS generates tailored 7-day meal plans to meet individual nutritional needs. The system also creates daily nutritional heatmaps, allowing real-time tracking of calorie, protein, fat, and other nutrient intake.

Once the customized meal plan is set, users can place a one-click order for the ingredients, which are promptly delivered to their doorstep. According to He Jianfeng, wan AIChef collaborates with high-quality food producers and supply platforms to ensure precise ingredient sourcing, traceable supply chains, and guaranteed freshness and safety of every delivery.

During the final cooking step, users simply place the pre-cut fresh ingredients into the wan AIChef cooking robot. The device, equipped with a 12MP internal camera and the proprietary Tianchu Recognition System, automatically identifies the ingredients and selects the optimal cooking method, preparing healthy and authentic dishes with ease.

He emphasized that this end-to-end process marks a fully intelligent closed-loop dietary management system, spanning from health detection and dietary planning to seasonal ingredient delivery, one-step cooking, and post-meal nutritional summaries. With wan AiOS, families can effortlessly achieve personalized healthy eating while enabling long-term monitoring of food intake and nutritional well-being.

Notably, wan AIChef ultra, powered by the wan AiOS system, won the AWE 2025 Appliance & Electronics Industry Innovation Award, one of the most prestigious honors in the sector, further highlighting the industry’s recognition of its technological foresight and innovation.

From Lab to Kitchen: The Flavor Evolution of AI Models

If wan AiOS serves as a personal health advisor for every household, then the wan AIChef ultra—powered by the proprietary AI Zhu Rong Large Model—takes on the mission of transforming personalized health meal plans into delicious culinary experiences.

Since its initial launch on August 28, 2024, the first 1,000 units of wan AIChef ultra have been delivered. Based on extensive user feedback and usage data, the product's cooking algorithms have been comprehensively optimized. The embedded AI Zhu Rong Model has deeply learned from over 1,000 master chef recipes, undergoing millions of training iterations to ensure that every dish achieves authentic taste and texture.

With the support of the Zhu Rong model, wan AIChef ultra is a true multi-functional powerhouse, capable of handling diverse cooking methods including steaming, boiling, baking, pan-frying, and stir-frying with ease. It also analyzes each user's cooking history to recommend new personalized recipes—unlocking an ever-evolving recipe database that grows smarter with each meal.

To further enhance cooking precision, wan AIChef ultra integrates 4D HyperSense Temperature Control Technology, which automatically compensates for heat fluctuations. This ensures that each ingredient receives its ideal cooking temperature—delivering, for example, perfectly crisp broccoli and tender pork ribs in the same pot.

“Technology shouldn’t be a privilege for the few—it should be accessible to every home,” said He Jianfeng, Marketing Director of wan AIChef. “All the complex technology behind our product exists for one purpose: to make home cooking effortlessly enjoyable.”

Redefining the Food Ecosystem: Rebuilding Mealtime Around the Smart Kitchen

In the second half of the event, an expert roundtable brought together thought leaders from academia, industry, and research to explore the strategic value of the AI-driven dietary ecosystem. According to wan AIChef and its partners, the end-to-end cooking capabilities empowered by large AI models are expected to deliver ecosystem value across at least three core dimensions.

Three Ecosystem Visions: Redefining the Kitchen, the Chef, and the Food Supply Chain

First: Building the World of Kitchenware – A Closed-Loop AIoT Ecosystem for Health and Nutrition

With the launch of the wan AiOS system and the wan AIChef ultra intelligent cooking terminal, wan AIChef demonstrates its technological prowess in integrating cooking appliances, AI models, and user needs through AIoT technology, successfully establishing a full-chain, closed-loop ecosystem for personalized health and dietary management.

Second: Building the World of Chefs – A Shared Recipe Creation and Trading Platform

This ecosystem encourages collaboration among home users, professional chefs, and food service companies in recipe development and exchange. Users can upload their recipes to earn rewards or sell them, while others can download desired recipes for free or purchase them. This forms a co-creative culinary ecosystem that combines celebrity chef sharing and user-driven innovation.

Third: Building the World of Food – A Traceable and Transparent Food Supply Chain

By collaborating with top-tier ingredient supply chain partners and delivery platforms like JD Daojia, wan AIChef aims to reconstruct the food supply chain from farm to table. The company is developing a wide range of standardized fresh ingredient packs, ensuring both food safety and customized ingredient availability for diverse user needs—driving transparency and efficiency across the entire food ecosystem.

Through its “Technology–Data–Ecosystem” triple innovation strategy, wan AiOS directly aligns with the Chinese Food and Nutrition Development Outline (2025–2030) and supports the national Healthy China 2030 initiative. By digitizing household-level nutrition monitoring and evaluation systems with AIoT-driven dietary algorithms, and by scaling up smart cooking scenarios that optimize dietary structures, wan AIChef serves as a strategic bridge between policy objectives and people’s daily lives. It offers a measurable, traceable, and replicable solution to support China’s national health strategy.

As Academician Ren Fazheng noted during the event,

“AI is a key lever in democratizing dietary health. When AI technology is applied to household meal management, it can optimize dietary algorithms and make nutritional interventions more targeted and effective. We hope to build an innovation system in this field led by enterprises, deeply integrating industry, academia, and research to help fulfill the goals of Healthy China 2030.”

Huo Liyi, General Manager of Shenzhen Wan AIChef Technology Co., Ltd., added:

“When Healthy China 2030 meets the AI culinary revolution, we can finally say: the warmth of technology lives in every steaming home-cooked dish.”

To make AI-driven health management and smart cooking more accessible, wan AIChef also unveiled a special offer during AWE:
Users who prepay ¥1,000 during the expo can deduct ¥10,000 off the final purchase price upon product delivery.
