On November 9, a unique banquet unfolded at the Liede New Market in Guangzhou. The wan AIChef Kitchen Intelligence System, developed by the innovative tech brand wan AIChef, made its way to the market to prepare a feast for the neighborhood, attracting many residents to experience it firsthand.
As a next-generation kitchen appliance for the AI era, wan AIChef enables machines to cook like human chefs, giving everyone access to a "personal chef." The event, themed "Countless Chefs, Countless Flavors, Right on Time," showcased the wisdom and skills of countless culinary masters, reflecting the essence of millions of Chinese households. "Countless Flavors" represents the vast diversity and richness of Chinese cuisine. The first stop of the event in Guangzhou seamlessly blended Cantonese cuisine, Lingnan culture, and modern smart technology, bringing intelligent cooking into the homes of ordinary people.
wan AIChef aims to integrate "countless chefs" with AI to create "countless flavors" through practical offline cooking experiences. The goal is to make healthy, delicious meals accessible to every user while showcasing the joys of smart cooking.
The wan AIChef Intelligence System’s banquet left the neighborhood in awe.
Liede, Guangzhou, is a place where historic water-town architecture meets the modern skyline of a bustling city center, blending cultural heritage with contemporary innovation. The Liede New Market, located here, combines the charm of traditional markets with a modern vibe. Early in the morning, residents weave through the stalls, picking out fresh produce.
At 8:30 a.m., wan AIChef’s extreme cooking challenge officially began at the Liede New Market. In this "competition," the "contestant" was the wan AIChef, and the "judges" were the local residents of Liede. At the market entrance, curious neighbors had already formed a long queue, ready to give this AI chef a variety of "challenges."

In the cooking experience area, residents selected their favorite recipes, picked up fresh ingredients, and placed the prepped ingredients into the wan AIChef. After a few minutes of automatic cooking, delicious dishes were ready to serve!
Meanwhile, in the banquet experience area, dishes prepared by staff on-site were served one after another, and the neighbors eagerly lined up to try them.
How did wan AIChef handle the varying cooking times and heat requirements for each dish on the banquet menu? The secret lies in its ability to intelligently identify ingredients in seconds and automatically adjust cooking parameters based on the type and quantity of ingredients, enabling one-touch cooking.
After tasting the Cantonese delicacies prepared by wan AIChef, the neighbors shared their thoughts:
"This way of cooking produces no smoke or oil, and the food is never overcooked or overdone. It feels very healthy."
"Cooking with this is so effortless. For a working professional like me, it saves a lot of time and energy every day."
"This steamed chicken with mushrooms tastes very authentic, just like homemade."
"I didn’t expect it to know what to cook just by looking at the ingredients, with no manual input. Now that’s real intelligence!"
Most people who experienced wan AIChef’s cooking capabilities expressed their approval. An aunt living in Liede even said she hopes wan AIChef will soon be available nationwide. "Elderly people really need this kind of new device—it’s convenient, time-saving, and, most importantly, smoke-free, healthy, and delicious." An Australian family who tried it also commented, "We hope to use wan AIChef to cook more Chinese dishes."
Luo Xingchen, Head of the Algorithm Department at wan AIChef, explained in an on-site interview that the reason wan AIChef could effortlessly complete this challenge and earn everyone’s recognition lies in its self-developed Zhurong Cooking Model. This model is the result of four years of research on over 100 renowned chefs and 1,000 home-style dishes, as well as over a million iterations of AI mimicking human cooking algorithms.
It is reported that wan AIChef also features AI self-learning capabilities—the more it is used, the better it understands the user’s taste preferences. Through the dietary management feature in the wan AIChef app, users can customize personalized meal plans to eat healthier.
Smart Technology Serving Everyday Life
"Countless Chefs, Countless Flavors, Right on Time" is not just a challenge event but also a deep reflection of wan AIChef’s brand philosophy: "Smart Technology for People, Supporting Every Home." Since its inception, wan AIChef has adhered to the principle of "smart technology for people," aiming to use AI to serve the daily cooking and dietary needs of every family, enhancing household happiness.
Guided by this philosophy, this cooking challenge brought advanced AI technology to the vibrant and lively "marketplace." Through a traditional Chinese-style banquet, it allowed neighbors to participate and share their most genuine feedback, fostering authentic human connections.
For wan AIChef, artificial intelligence is a technology with warmth, reflected not only in the brand’s philosophy but also in every detail of its products. For example, the upcoming flagship product, wan AIChef Ultra, is not just a cooking device but a comprehensive dietary management system. It addresses how users can eat healthier by offering solutions for ingredient purchasing, cooking, and health diagnostics. It can also provide reminders and plans when users’ diets are unhealthy. For different family members, it offers daily and weekly meal plans tailored to individual needs, providing personalized recipes, one-click ordering, and one-click cooking, ensuring the dietary health of the entire family.
Moving forward, wan AIChef will continue to innovate and engage with communities across China, challenging the boundaries of cooking with AI and bringing smart cooking into every household, building a new culinary ecosystem.
